Introduction to Organization

Be-Whole Incorporated is an arts, health and educational enrichment company that 
seeks to improve the quality of lives of people.  Be-Whole Incorporated was created 
because of a need to expand a successful community praise dance/fitness program 
which was started back in 1996 called Healing and Praise Dance.  We wanted more 
activities that included educational, social and health awareness issues.  Some of our 
children and young adults needed more than just physical activities.  We began 
discussing ways to improve and expand our programs.  These discussions led to 
the formation of Be-Whole Incorporated.  Be-Whole Incorporated was incorporated 
in New Jersey as a 501(c)3 nonprofit corporation.  The name Be-Whole was chosen 
because it represented our new efforts to extend our reach beyond dance and fitness 
to include educational, social, and health awareness programs that would address 
the whole person.
